In case you access Outlook Express for using Comcast email ID, you have to check first your setting should be appropriately arranged. You have to create an account on Comcast by entering the essential details which is your username and password or if you don’t have an account already then go for the signing up process. Go through the following steps to find out how to do it.

  • Go to the Outlook Express page.
  • Press the Tools menu list
  • Choose Accounts option.
  • Move to step 3, for arranging Outlook Express client.
  • Choose the account from the menu list, configuring the Outlook Express client.
  • Tap Add option.
  • Press Mail.
  • Type the full name given as a page name.
  • Tap Next.
  • Write your Email ID in the email ID section
  • Press Next.
  • Choose POP3 on the given menu list, appears in the incoming mail server option.
  • Type www.mail.comcast.net in the Incoming mail which is POP3, Internet Message Access Protocol or HyperText Transfer Protocol servers.
  • Writing www.smtp.comcast.net in the Outgoing mail which is Simple Mail Transfer Protocol servers.
  • After that, Press Next option.
  • Type Comcast profile name in the space of username.
  • Enter your Comcast profile name located on the left corner of the @ icon in email ID. Let’s take an example, in case email ID is cenamac@comast.net, then write there only a first word which is cenamac.
  • On the Password column, write a protected password.
  • Confirm the Password of your email ID you had to remember while creating your account.
  • In case the password you don’t like to type it again, then you can go to the setting to allow access from the email app.
  • Tap Next option.
  • Press Finish.
  • Bookmark www.mail.comcast.net website which is on the Account page
  • Press Properties.
  • Tap the Advanced button.
  • In the Outgoing Mail which is Simple Mail Transfer Protocol servers, look after the column right side to “This server requires a secure connection” option.
  • Type 465 numerical code in the Outgoing mail server.
  • In the Incoming mail which is POP3, Internet Message Access Protocol or HyperText Transfer Protocol servers, see the column given on the right to the option of “This server requires a secure connection.”
  • Enter the code 995 to space.
  • Press the Servers button and then look the column given on the left button which is “My Server requires authentication.”
  • Press Ok.
